Word makes it easy to format text as hidden so it can’t be viewed or printed. What if you want some text hidden on the screen, but you want to be able to print the hidden text? No worries, easily done. NOTE: To hide text formatted as hidden so it’s not visible on the screen, make sure the “Home” tab is active and click the “Show/Hide” button in the “Paragraph” section. Printing hidden text is as easy as turning on an option. To begin, click the “File” tab.
On the backstage screen, click “Options” in the list of items on the left. On the “Word Options” dialog box, click “Display” in the list of items on the left. In the “Printing options” section, select the “Print hidden text” check box so there is a check mark in the box. Click “OK” to accept the change and close the “Word Options” dialog box.
Hi folks, A PC running Windows 10 will not print text/fonts from Word, Excel, Wordpad. It will print PDFs, images from 3D paint. I have swapped the printer and the same thing is happening. Hundreds of their Word Documents which used to print okay from Word 2013 are now out of alignment. The problem is they look fine on screen in Word2016 & via Print preview - but the printed output is badly out of alignment. They can't fix it because Word is showing its okay. That could explain the problems with textboxes and text.
You can also if you don’t want anyone else who has access to the document to see it.
I cannot print any Excel documents sent to me. It doesnt seem to matter if i save them on the hard drive, or open them up in the email. They act like they're being sent to the printer; the printer starts flashing that it's receiving a document.
Then the printer stops. There are no doc's in the print que. If i save it using a different name - still won't print. I have to copy each Excel worksheet to a new file, reformat the worksheet, then print. Also noted - all Word and Excel docs seem to be 'locked' somehow - Every doc requires me to 'enable editing' to save or prin. Word is printing fine (once i 'enable editing'). I've got a new laptop, with W7 and microsoft 2010 software.
Any suggestions? I recently purchase a new computer with Windows 10, and I also purchased MS Office Personal. My printer is an HP and would not print 'black' text in MS Word or Publisher; it would however, print in other colors. The problem was not my printer, it would print in black text from an Internet website. I attempted to find a solution for this problem on the Internet, but was unsuccessful. I finally went to the Microsoft website for help, I looked there as well. I ended up doing a remote connection through MS Chat and had the problem completely resolved.
The person at MS Chat was very patient and helpful with my issues and has the expertise to make the fix.
